BJP has surprised everyone by winning four seats in Saharanpur named as Mecca of UP due to the biggest centre of Islamic education Darul Uloom. Especially winning Deoband is being treated as its biggest achievement. BJP succeeded to win here again after 21 years. BSP engaged in setting the Dalit-Muslim alliance equation couldn't even open here while Saharanpur was treated as its fort. Talking about Deoband, BJP had won here in 1996. Now it's not hidden that Muslims especially the Muslim women, have openly voted in the UP Assembly elections this time. Did the attitude of the central government on three talaq inspired Muslim women to vote for BJP? It seems possible with more female voting as compared to males in more than 30 per cent Muslim inhabitations and win of BJP there. Though it may be questioned that majority of female voters were Muslims, how can we say so? The only answer to it is just hear-say. As per data compiled by the political parties, voluntary organizations there are 70 constituencies with 20 per cent Muslim inhabitations and more or less the same with more than 30 per cent Muslim inhabitations. The results from these areas have been in favour of BJP which naturally put a question that whether the central government's attitude towards three talaq inspired Muslims women to vote for BJP and these women took a risk to break the traditional bondage for their rights. Rationalist may say that how can it be proved that increase in female voting percentage symbolize the increase in the voting of Muslim women. Muslim women are preparing to struggle for their rights. They seek justice in the light of Shariat, not based on fatwas. It's not surprising if the Muslim women have voted for BJP. Political analysts also believe that despite the voting in Muslim dominated areas and division of votes in various parties BJP candidates won, it appears that some of the Muslim women have surely voted for BJP. Secondly, Muslims too are awakening now. They have tried both the SP and BSP. A sect especially the youth now says why Modi and BJP shouldn't be tried. Congress, SP and BSP have always seen us as vote bank and used for their own interests. Usually Muslims want peace and not the riots. They want to earn their livelihood peacefully. They feel that there are no riots in the BJP regime. Except one there were no rights in Gujarat. There were no riots in Delhi. There were more than 450 small riots in SP regime in Uttar Pradesh. This is the reason that a section of Muslims have given a chance to BJP this time and voted in favour of BJP.
