whale game, yet there are dozens of students trapped in this game. After all
what is this blue whale game? The online blue whale game challenge, instigating
young people for dangerous exploits has been known for long in India . The
player has to perform 50 tasks in this game lasting for about 50 days, where he
hurts himself in many of them. In this game, the player has toultimately commit suicide. During the entire game the

The first death occurred in 2015 due to a group F-57 of a social networking
site VKontakte, called as

Phillip Budeikin claimed that he has invented this game. He did so because he
wanted to clean the society. Budeikin

value. He was arrested for instigating the teenagers for suicide. On May
11th,Budeikin was convicted and sentenced to jail for three years.
Blue Whale is related to the suicide of Whales (big fish). Mammals living in
water go to the beach where they die due to dehydration, their own weight or
high tide. This game is based upon the relation between the challengers (also
called as players or participants) and the fans. It contains a series of tasks
assigned by the organizers to be performed by the players. Normally one task is
to be done every day; some of them are linked to self-defect. Some tasks may be
assigned in advance; the final decision of the game is to commit suicide. The
list of the tasks is to be finished within 50 days which includes: waking up at
4.20 in the morning, climbing the crane, making a tattoo of a specific phrase
or image on his own hand or arm, performing a secret job, piercing a needle on
own hand or foot, standing over a bridge or roof, listening to the music or
watching the video sent by the organizer. A music video of an inspiring song
Sterio by Norwegian singer Emily Nicholas was included among them. Many cases
have come forward related to this game. On July 20th, 2017, in
Andheri (East), Mumbai,a boy aged 14 years committed suicide by jumping from
the seventh floor. Maharashtra Chief Minister blamed the blue whale game for
this suicide. On August 13th, a boy aged 15 years committed suicide
in West Midnapore district of West Bengal. The
police suspect that the incidence relates to the game. Despite the awareness
and warning about blue whale game in Bhubaneshwar, youth and teenagers are
playing the game. Such type of a case came out in the Makai village in
Damanjore Police Station. An ITI student Anil Barik got trapped after playing many
rounds of the blue whale game. At last he had to commit suicide but he was
saved. He says that he got a hyper link from his smartphone. He uploaded it
eagerly. While he was playing the game, his grandmother came there. She saw
that he is not behaving normally. She informed other family members. Relatives
snatched his mobile, but till then he had made a cut on his wrist. Police SP of
KotapurKanwar Vishal told that after investigation it will come to know that
had it happened due to the blue whale game. Relatives of a student trapped in
blue whale game in Solan told that their child used to go to a private school
for study and for the last few days he used to sleep late in the night and wake
up at four in the morning. When the parents had the information of this 12 year
old boy being trapped in the game, they
stopped sending him to school. The boy is shocked since he now come to know the
reality of the game and is nowgradually exposing the secrets. While talking he
told that three students were playing this game together and he played two
chapters of the game and depicted the signs of blue whale on his arm.
Government of India
and all the State Governments should immediately expose this game and, if
possible, ban the blue whale game. It has been banned in many countries. Parents
and relatives will have to take special care. No one could ever imagine that
smartphone in the hands of children may be mortal. Save the Children.
