The game of bringing down and saving the government in Uttarakhand is not only an incidence limited to the politics of just a state. In fact the power clash here is connected to the existence of the Congress Party, nation's oldest and ruling party for the maximum time. If Harish Rawat in Uttarakhand fails to prove his majority in the House, one more name will be added to the list of the states slipping from the grip of the Congress and BJP will be much inspired to work on the agenda of a Congress Free India. When BJP at the time of Lok Sabha Elections raised a slogan of Congress Free India, Congress had tauntingly replied that even the British regime couldn't finish us then what can BJP do which has an identity in a few states? But if we think with a cool mind and see that the Congress is losing states one by one and the party is on the verge of being wiped out. If we glance at the political scenario of the country, Delhi and 29 states having full statehood the Congress regime has been confined up to only seven states: Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Meghalaya and Mizoram. It is technically a partner in Bihar but its political future there rests upon the crutches of the JDU-RJD. Congress had to lose power in all the states which went to poll after the General Elections. So far it didn't succeed even in a single one. Although the Congress had lost the central regime in 1977, 89, 96, 98 and 1999 yet it has ruled over the important states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Kerala, and Delhi. It is the first time since the ouster from the Central regime in 2014 when Congress has disappeared from the important states also. Undoubtedly it is a matter of satisfaction for the BJP. BJP feels that the agenda of Congress Free India is working. Congress's allegation may have some truth that the Central Government wants to form the government with its supports in the states ruled by it by destabilizing the governments there, but the Congress would have also to reply to this question that why it's unable to handle its own party which gives BJP a chance to infiltrate within it? It's the first priority of the Congress to save the government of Uttarakhand so that it doesn't lose one more state. The way ahead is also not easy for the Congress. Assam is going to polls next month where the Congress is ruling for the last 15 years. As per the assessment so far it is said that coming back to power will be a challenge for the Congress and if now Uttarakhand moves from the grip of the Congress, then the power bank of the Congress will be liquidated up to Karnataka only which will go to polls in 2018. It has lost Arunachal Pradesh last month. Manipur too has not good reports. Elections to the 68 member Manipur Assembly are proposed in the next month. Boost for the morale of the dissidents in Manipur is natural due to the revolt in Arunachal and Uttarakhand. Crisis may rise at any time. It's the most critical stage in the history for the Congress which is losing the states one by one
