Brussels, now the European capital of Islamic terrorists

The blasts in the Belgian capital Brussels have occurred four days after the arrest of Paris blast accused Salah Abde Salam. One day after the most dreaded attack on Paris in November 2015 by the Islamic State (IS) the terrorist outfit had claimed the responsibility of this attack and boasted that similar attacks will be made in France and its supporting nations. Belgium to a great extent helped the French investigating agencies to reach the bottom of this attack. The Belgian security agencies should have been alert after the arrest of Salah Abde Salam but the they not only failed to neutralize the network of terrorists but could not even pre empt the terrorist attack on Brussels either. According to  experts it’s quite possible that the attack before the arrest of Salah Abde Salam was well planned and after the preparedness of many weeks. This also indicates the existence of comprehensive and dreadful terrorist network in Belgium. According to a Belgian think tank Egmont Belgium has become the shelter of foreigner fighters. Belgium is the only nation from where the maximum fighters go to Syria and join the Islamic State. Brussels is the biggest metropolitan city of Belgium. 62 per cent people here are outsiders. It has the headquarters of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Commission. As per Bruckinghan Institute of Washington recently 650 fightersalone  went Syria to join the IS. More than half of the Muslim population is living below the poverty line in the country. The Belgian border is open towards Germany, France, Netherlands and Luxemburg due to the Shenzhen treaty. This is comfortable for the terrorists. Theyenter Belgium from Syria and thereafter plan to attack on European cities. The terrorist attack on Paris in November last was also a part of this plan. The security system of this nation is weak. Normally the citizens here don’t like more interrogation, policing system. Due to the rising population of Muslim migrants, influence of fundamentalists and youth inspired with the ideology of IS, the Belgian capital Brussels has now turned into the European capital of terrorism. As per the recent report of the European Agency Europol the maximum terrorists from the Belgium itself have gone to Syria to join the IS. Not so many people have joined the IS from any other European nation. The most dreaded fact is that 130 youths have returned Belgium from Syria. Many of them have also been arrested. But the most dangerous fact is nobody knows how many terrorists in fact went to Syria and how many returned?Brussels attack should be treated as most serious as such that it indicates that the IS network has not only expanded in dreadful manner but also they plan the attacks at such a time when the security agencies are said to be alert. Bollywood Singer Abhijit’s wife Sumati Bhattacharya and his son also include the people who closely felt the bomb blasts in the Belgian capital Brussels.Sumati told her husband over phone that their plane landed at the airport just when the blasts occurred. Abhijit tweeted that he had talks with his wife and son after the Brussels blasts, both are safe and in a safe zone.
