Aamir Khan now feels suffocated in India

Every citizen of India has a right to express his views by his wisdom in a democracy and nobody should be deprived of it. This applies on a common man, an actor and Aamir Khan also but when you make a public statement it’s natural to have a reaction and particularly if a high quality actor like Aamir Khan states something it would attract both pros and cons reactions. Therefore it is said that actors should think many times before making an public statement. Before it is said by Aamir and his fans that media has distorted his statement, I would like to tell the readers what exactly and where Aamir Khan has said. During Ramnath Goenka Journalism Award Ceremony on Monday, Aamir said that whatever is happening in India, we read it in newspapers, watch live on TV.  The actor said that he himself feels that the feeling of insecurity has increased within the past six or eight month. Aamir said that when he talked about this with his wife Kiran in this regard she said that should we leave India? He added that Kiran is concerned about the security of her child. She is concerned over the surrounding atmosphere. She fears reading the newspaper every day. This proves that intolerance is increasing in the country. You can understand yourself why this is happening? Billions of Indians gave their heart to a common man like Aamir and have gifted him with wealth of crores, making his every film a hit. India was incredible till yesterday, now all of a sudden you and your wife are afraid here? One viewer reacted – Aamir’s statement has filled me with passion and guilt, why are we so tolerant that anyone may abuse us, our nation and we keep silent for the sake of freedom of expression and tolerance? Why we are insulting our nation for the sake of safeguarding his rights? If Aamir feels insecure, he should visit and see what is the tolerance level in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, and Sudan and even in Pakistan is? Another one says that it’s our tolerance that despite the partition of India on Hindu-Muslim bases people like Aamir Khan are superstars. Secondly if Kiran Rao had talked of leaving the country was it necessary for Aamir to tell it in the media? This home matter should have been confined to the home, but it was to be publicized. In fact, this anti-government environment has been created by so-called writers, artists, opposition parties jointly. Well-known actor Anupam Kher has strongly criticized actor Aamir Khan statement on intolerance. Kher has pasted on twitter that Dear Aamir Khan, have you ever asked Kiran that in which country she wants to go? Did you tell Kiran that the country has made you Aamir Khan? Anupam didn’t stop here, he asked Aamir in another tweet that Dear Aamir Khan have you told Kiran that you’ve seen a worse time in this country, but the idea of leaving the country never came in your mind, Incredible India has become intolerant just in 7-8 months? What will you suggest to two million Indians in this round of intolerance? Leaving the country or changing the regime? Famous writer Tasleema Nasreen asked , Mr. Aamir Khan, how can such a country be intolerant where you can earn Rs. 300 crore by producing a film like PK insulting the Hindu Gods? Could you have produced such a film in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia? Aamir Khan, you get Rs. 3 crore for each episode of Incredible India and what do you give to the nation in return? You get Rs. 3 crore for Satyamev Jayate and talk about intolerance in India. Akshay Kumar is far better Indian than you who helps 15,000 poor families, 180 farmer families and has helped drought affected farmers of Maharashtra with Rs. 90 lakhs monetary help. What have you done for the poor and needy Mr Khan? Aamir has not only left his fans speechless but also has let down the nation. Leaving the country is not a matter of a joke or casual off the cuff remark. You should have thought ten times before uttering these words. You  should have been aware about the circumstances of the  persons who are resorting to leave their country. They are the people of Syria and Iraq. They are also minorities of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Do Aamir and his wife find themselves in the same condition? It would be better that Aamir should tell that which is the tolerant nation of his dreams? It is really sad  that Aamir has taken a serious matter like leaving the country in such a lighter tone. Even Dawood Ibrahim has also fled from the county, this is not a big deal.
