China is not going to refrain from manipulation

China is not going to refrain from manipulation.  China has, almost rejecting the proposal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear the stand on actual line of control (LAC) now said that it would prefer an agreement of Code of Conduct with India. In the first Chinese public reaction on proposal of Prime Minister, Huang Zilian, Deputy Director General of Asian Affairs in Chinese External Affairs Ministry said that problems have been faced during the preceding efforts to clear the corresponding status on LAC. Narendra Modi during his China visit told Chinese leaders that both the countries should try to resolve the border issue and other controversial matters, as these will continue to be as hindrances. It is noteworthy that China has the stand that border dispute is limited to 2000 kms only, which makes most of Arunachal Pradesh but India asserts that the dispute is stretched to about 4000 kms in the western side of the border. Especially Aksaichin which was annexed by China in the 1962 war. To address this issue, 18 rounds of dialogues have been held at Special Representative level between the two sides. The Chinese response simply means that China wants to see trade relations and other issues separately. China wants rapid rise in economic relationships and business transactions continue to progress. India faces the difficulty that its trade with China is imbalanced, and it is on increase. India's exports to China are close to $ 15 billion, while its exports to India have exceeded $ 50 billion. It’s not an equal status. India tries to reduce this gap. India has to mould herself as export-oriented economy like China besides fixing the trade imbalance with China. China may be helpful in it but India must keep the vigil that it does not dominate. We will have to take care of its dangerous expansionist intentions and its collusion with Pakistan against India before being excited towards it anyway. We must not forget that Chinese forces went on a rampage for three days violating the Indian border during the presence of Chinese president Xi in India and Chinese president has returned after signing an agreement for infrastructure projects of billions of rupees in Indian territory illegally occupied by Pakistan, naming Pakistan as real brother. China wants rapid rise in economic relationships and business transactions continue to progress. Status quo is to be kept on other bilateral issues and the only thing to be taken care of that any dispute does not exceed a limit. May be it the issue of stapled visas to residents of Arunachal Pradesh or Jammu and Kashmir or building of military importance by China in POK, the issues should remain the same extent and light-weight strength-test runs be run on border. We must not forget that Jinping who announced an investment of mere $ 20 billion in India, worked on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor $ 46 billion investment agreement during his visit to Pakistan. This corridor would cross POK of India. China has made it clear, setting aside the objection of India that it would not roll back from investment in POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). Under this intent China has defended the POK-China economic corridor running across the POK. Let us be wary of China and must realize that China is not going to desist from its manipulation.
