Inferior politics over Army Chief warning

It’s the misfortune of our nation that we never think about the impact of our inferior politics over the national security agencies and the nation’s integrity and sovereignty? Army Chief General Vipin Rawat had recently warned that the people hoisting the flags of ISI and Pakistan in Kashmir will be dealt firmly. Those obstructing the military operation by stone-pelting or otherwise will be treated as the associates of the terrorists. Is such statement unfair or objectionable? Incidents in South Kashmir on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday clearly indicate that the Kashmiri terrorism can neither be stopped by surgical strike nor demonetization. The valley has once again become tense after the killing of six youth in Kulgaon district on Sunday. Security forces have on one hand to encounter with the terrorists and simultaneously to face the public stone-pelting on the other. Resorting to ifs & buts, leaders of various parties including Congress have opened an unfortunate front against the Army Chief. As such they have not only shown the inferior and fatal politics, but rewarded the stone-pelting and pro-Pak elements of Kashmir also. Do these leaders opposing the Army Chief’s statement want the security forces should fight at one time on the both fronts during the encounter with the terrorists? If the army deals firmly with the stone pelting people at such time, these people object. Our governments, Central and State governments are also responsible for this situation to much extent. Why didn’t you openly allowed the army to deal firmly on both fronts and take action, if necessary, against the supporters of the terrorists like the action taken for the terrorists. You’ve even disputed the use of pallet guns by the army. Can our deal with such mischievous elements with crossed hands? How long will we be seeing the martyrdom of our brave soldiers? How can the people opposing the Army Chief’s statement forget that six soldiers including on Major have martyred in last one week in Kashmir? Seldom have a leader said such that the martyrdom of six soldiers is not acceptable in killing eight terrorists. Doesn’t the leaders placing kinds of sophistry against the army chief know that if the Major injured during the encounter with terrorists in Hundwara couldn’t reach the hospital in time only for the reason that mob not only blocked the road for army fleet but also pelted stones over them. How shameful is it that when after such incidents the stone pelting people be condemned, instead adverse efforts are on to boost their morale? Shame on these people stitching their mouth over the martyrdom of soldiers but become too vocal against the warning to elements who eyesore the army and security forces. Politics goes on but within its own limits. We salute these brave soldiers maintaining the security, integrity and sovereignty of the nation and appeal them to carry on their duty ignoring people questioning their martyrdom. We fully support the warning from Army Chief General Vipin Rawat.
