At times such players emerge in the cricket those leave their mark. As such there is name of Virat Kohli. Team India skipper Virat Kohli is such a name. Virat Kohli is such an emerging player not only in the Indian scenario, but in the cricket world also for which set record breaking has become a normal game. Indian skipper Virat Kohli is continuing his magic and has become the batsman striking double century in consecutive four series leaving behind the legend cricketer Sir Donald Bradman and Rahul Dravid famous as the Wall. After hitting 200 (West Indies), 211 (New Zealand), 235 (England), now Virat scored 204 against Bangladesh. Bradman and Dravid had stroked double century in three consecutive series. Virat Kohli is the first batsman In the 140 years of cricket history having stroke double centuries in four consecutive test series. As a skipper he had such magic in 28 test matches. Before him 31 Indian skippers altogether could score four double centuries in 483 tests. However, as a skipper too Virat stands at number two in the batsmen striking double century. Brian Lara (West Indies) is ahead of him who scored five double centuries. But Virat has just started his career. He will also have this record soon. By the way Smith, Bradman and Clarv (as skippers) equal Virat in striking four doubles each. Sachin Tendulkar (six doubles), Virender Sahvag (six) and Rahul Dravid (five) are such Indians striking more doubles than Virat. Virat has scored 1168 runs in the home test season. He has also broken the record of Sahvag (1105 runs in 2004-05). Once it was said that Virat is fit for one-day and T-20 matches and not for test matches. But the test matches he played since last year to date, he not only broke the assumption designed for him but retorted those critics also. Presently he is the skipper of all the three formats of the Indian Cricket Team. He is also seen as an invisible skipper. In fact he has proved his ability in all the three formats. It's not without reason that the great cricketers of the world have praised his ability, fitness. Now if Virat comes to the ground for any match, the data entering people open their books.
