Pakistan gets dual advantage

I am talking about my neighbour Pakistan. China has given Pakistan such a gift bigger than US. The gift was presented by Chinese President XI Chinfing while arriving on his two day visit on Monday. During this 51 bilateral agreements including China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Energy projects costing 46 billion dollars were signed between two countries. China-Pakistan has started million dollar pipeline crossing slave Kashmir putting aside the objections of India. Railway network and net of roads will be laid in slave Kashmir under this 46 billion dollar (approx. Rs 2,89,500 crores) project connecting Pakistan's Gwadar port to Xin Ziang state of China. Chinese President announced this agreement within starting hours of arriving Pakistan on Monday. Solar Wind Mills, dams etc. will also be constructed under this project with the help of China. On completion of these projects China will have direct access to Gulf of Arabia and Gulf of Hormuz. This way is near to the oil dispatching ways from West Asia. India mostly imports oil from West Asia. China will be able to use Gwadar as naval centre also. The 46 billion dollar rail network connecting Kashgar in China to Gwadar port situated in Arabian Sea of Pakistan is called China-Pakistan Corridor that crosses POK. Approx. 3 thousand kilometre long road (slip road) rail and pipeline network will be laid under this plan. This agreement of China is much more than total US investments in past years (approx. 31 billion dollars). Significantly it is the first visit of any Chinese President in last nine years. India fears that China can use Gwadar port as naval base in future. Moreover China will have access to Hormuz and Gulf of Arabia wherefrom it can reach nearer to oil dispatch ways of West Asia. These are the ways India imports most of its oil. The way Chinese president XI Chinfing has signed 51 agreements in his first visit, it appears that Pakistan has double advantage.  If US is there to help in open, China is also here. In this context, Pakistan’s foreign policy will be called as success. Leaving aside the basic infrastructure, this corridor alone is sufficient for making India worry. China is bent on setting up nuclear plants of Pakistan and supplying Uranium without consent of supplying countries in lieu of this. Besides talks are also on for supply of military items. In words it will be used against terrorism but will be used on the front of India. China is busy on covering India from all four sides. Let’s see what our Prime Minister Narendra Modi achieves in his proposed China visit next month?
