The world knows about the cozy relations of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Pak gets huge funds from Saudi Arabia. It is even being claimed that Saudi Arabia has funded Pakistan for the Islamic bomb. Pakistan has made nuclear bombs and as per unconfirmed sources Saudi Arabia is now demanding nuclear bomb from Pakistan so that it may use it against its enemies. Saudi Arabia has given billions of rupees to Madrasa of Pakistan on the pretext of religious education. A top US senator has said that Saudi Arabia provides financial assistance to about 24 thousand Madrasas in Pakistan and is sending tsunami of money to spread intolerance and to spread Jehad. Senator Kris Murphy said the US needs to conclude its status of dominant silent consent on sectarian Islam being sponsored by Saudi Arabia. Murphy said Pakistan is the best example of such a place where the money coming from Saudi Arabia is being used for helping the religious schools promoting hatred and terrorism. Addressing the top US think tank Council on Foreign Relations, he said there are 24 thousand such Madrasas in Pakistan who get financial assistance from Saudi Arabia. As per some estimates since the decade of 1960 Saudi Arabia has provided financial assistance of more than 100 billion dollars to Madrasas and mosques under the propagation campaign of stringent Islam across the world. Murphy said that it is the intuitive truth of our alliance with Saudi Arabia that there is another aspect of Saudi Arabia which we can’t ignore as our fight against the Islamic fundamentalism has become more centred and more complicated. He said that the US should stop supporting Saudi Arabian expedition in Yemen at least until we are assured that its expedition will be centred over the fight against the IS and Al-Qaida and we have some progress that the Saudi’s have stopped the export of the Wahabi ideology. Murphy demanded that the Congress should not sanction military sales of any kind to Saudi Arabia until it gets assurance on these questions. Senator Murphy further said that the political relations between the House of Saud, ruling royal family of Saudi Arabia and the conservative Wahabi clerics is as old as this country for which billion dollars are sent through Wahabi movement. Senator said that the vicious terrorist groups that US people know by name are Sunni in origin and are much inspired from Wahabi and Salafi teachings. Murphy said that both Democratic and Republican leaders should avoid the extreme debate and discuss on it how the US can help liberal voices of Islam to win against those sowing seeds of fundamentalism.
We want to congratulate Senator Murphy for his courage to expose the truth of Saudi Arabia. We also demand that the Government of India should provide the information about the amount provided by Saudi’s in India for exporting Wahabi ideology and to encourage Jehad in our country.
