Warning of Army Chief Gen. Dalbeer Singh Suhaag

Pakistan is not going to desist from its actions. It seems in Pakistan neither poverty is a problem nor inflation or disease. It has one and only problem i.e. Kashmir. It sings Kashmir song day and night, and is adopting dual policy to achieve its objective.  The first is to raise Kashmir issue at international forums or by forcibly creating an opportunity and the other is to keep disturbing Kashmir peace through infiltration. Through these jehadis it is waging a proxy war against India. Even the self proclaimed champion of anti-terrorist campaign, US has once again warned Pakistan which is running the terror nursery in harsh words to take strict and effective steps to abolish terrorist camps and jihadist set ups being operated and financed from its territory. The warning was given to Pak Prime Minister and Army Chief by US Security Advisor on her one day visit to Pakistan recently. It has also been reported that Pakistan is preparing muslim youths between in the age group of 18 to 30 years to create terror in India by instigating them in the name of religion. It’s provoking terrorists by showing them fake images and videos of atrocities allegedly committed on Muslims in various countries of the world including Palestine, Kashmir etc.  The groups prepared in terrorist camps are deputed on security duties in the programmes of terrorist organisation Jamaat-ud-Dawa. Recently apprehended Pak terrorist Naved and his co-trainee terrorists were deputed on security duty in the programme of Jamaat-ud-Dawa led by Hafiz Saeed in Meenar-e-Pakistan at Lahore. Indian security agencies have got solid proofs through the disclosure by the captured terrorist Naved about the alliance between different terrorist set ups and their intention to create terror in India. India will share these proofs, if necessary, with US and UN including the countries on whose shoulder Pakistan often cries. Naved informed that terrorists are trained to undergo of 100 round firing from AK-47, 5 round firing from LMG and 10 round firing from pistol at one time. These trainees are of 20 to 30 years of age. Terrorists are also taught map reading, GPS planting, compass reading, radio communication, working on Google Earth. Indian Security agencies have completed mapping of 24 locations of Naved in Pakistan, as such none can raise question over his (Naved’s) being a Pakistani citizen. Jong company phone and mobile numbers of Naved have also been detailed. The level of terrorist training being run in Pakistan is revealed from this information from Naved that 180 terrorists are given 21 days military training in Daur-e-Aam at a time. Fresh disclosures from Naved and reports from across the border by our intelligence agencies make it clear that  Pakistan is preparing a huge army of terrorists whom it wants to infiltrate under the cover of firing on border. India should not expect support from any other country in this war. Especially from US, who has always been playing dual role. On one hand it says that Pakistan is the largest terrorist nursery in the world and shelter place of Osama Bin Laden and Mulla Umar, on the other hand it fully supports Pakistan with financial help and military weapons. When US strictly orders Pakistan why doesn’t Pakistan take note of it? In fact to much extent the double standard of the US is responsible for this. US in its own interest has officially recognized the term good and bad terrorist groups of Pakistan. It chooses to keep silent over the Pakistani misadventure on border and the terror hit territory inside India which is four times more as compared to the terrorist group targeting US forces and establishments in Afghanistan. Terrorists have taken advantage of this US dual policy and have got such a hold over power in association with army and Pakistan intelligence agency ISI that nobody has the might or will to control them.

It is for these reasons the Indian Army Chief Gen. Dalbir Singh Suhaag has told the three armed forces of India (Indian Army, Navy & Air Force) to be prepared for swift, short nature of future wars. Slamming Pakistan for using "new methods" to create unrest in Jammu and Kashmir as well as spread the "arc of violence" to other areas, the Indian Army on Tuesday said it was ready for short wars which could be swiftly unleashed without much warning He said we should always be prepared for a quick and precise war in future. Without naming Pakistan he has said that in the new circumstances, the warning time from the enemy for war will be less. So it is necessary for India to be prepared at all times. In the preview of the ongoing tension with Pakistan on border and continuous violation of the ceasefire, the statement of the army chief gains much importance.

In such circumstances the question also arises as to what is the utility and justification of the proposed meeting between the commanders of BSF and Pak Rangers? Why are we humiliating ourselves again and again? The fresh statement of the Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef should be an eye opener for India. The proverb also says: Some people understand only the language of force.
