Chaos created after surgical strike of denominations of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 by Prime overshadowed the visit of British Prime Minister Theresa May. All the attention has gone to the surgical strike. It was Theresa's first bilateral visit outside Europe. She talked over several key issues with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It may be coincidence. But the way so many hopes were associated with her India visit in Britain itself shows it was not mere coincidence. In fact, the visit cannot be seen in isolation from Britain's future from the preparations after the decision of getting separated from EU's .It is common thinking in UK that now it is now essential for Britain to expand business relations with countries like China, India and Brazil for increasing economic opportunities. British PM's visit to India has several meaning to choose from. Whether it is in Indian or British perspective . The way counterparts of both the countries agreed on several issues was very important and necessary for the future. Both countries are agreed on make-in-India, technology transfer and several new possibilities, as well as mutual cooperation through joint research. This step is receivable in every respect. Another important achievement is that both countries will form a cyber security promwarv to combat online terrorism, which would make extremely easy to monitor the activities of terrorists. Britain is important to India in several ways.It has been India's largest trading partner in Europe. Also in the rest of Europe it helps India to increase its export in the rest of Europe. Hence, in 2014, Modi had showed interest in increasing cooperation in many sectors including energy, defense and medicine. But due to Britain's strict visa and immigration policy, it couldn't succeed. So, it was only natural that Modi has mentioned difficulties arising due to the UK's visa policy while talking to Theresa May. British PM promised to simplify the visa policy for businessmen, but she did not respond satisfactorily towards Indian students. UK has complaint that many of students who come to UK on study visas don't want to go back even after completion of their visa term. In a joint statement, for continuously supporting India's membership in the UN and claim in the Nuclear Suppliers Group, PM Modi said to British companies that India's defense sector has ample opportunities for them. Theresa said Britain is separating from EU and India is growing rapidly. So both should take this chance with solidarity because Brekgit supporters believe that the UK will have to discover its territory out of Europe. For past some time, Indian industrialists have showed particular interest in investing in the UK. It also includes acquisition of several UK companies. Intended to cooperate with India against terrorism Britain said bluntly that a terrorist should not be glorified by tagging
as martyr. It is understandable that indication would be towards Burhan Wani whom Pakistan declared a martyr. Overall, it can be said that during the India's visit British Prime Minister and the Prime Minister made a good chemistry which will benefit both the countries in the coming days.
